About The Position

In this role, you will impact the production line by utilizing your skills to assemble components accurately and efficiently, which will help us deliver exceptional products to our customers. The Assembler Associate II is responsible for the assembly of position and thermal sensors according to specified work instructions, prints, and routers. The ideal candidate will possess strong hand-eye coordination, comfort with small hand tools, and the capability to perform detailed tasks using a microscope.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to understand and follow written instructions in English.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly, including wiring and soldering, is desirable.
  • Capability to read digital outputs on meters.
  • Willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes and adapt to varying production volumes.
  • Strong communication skills to convey information clearly to team members.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
  • Experience with hand tools and assembly equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and quality control processes.
  • Must have eyesight correctable to 20/20 vision and not be color-blind.
  • Well-defined fine hand/eye coordination.
  • Commitment to attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring fine manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly tasks on various components and products according to specifications.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and are assembled in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
  • Follow step-by-step assembly procedures and instructions to accurately construct position and thermal sensors.
  • Use small hand tools (e.g., tweezers, Swiss oiler, wire cutters, allen wrench, X-acto knife, needle-nose pliers) for assembly tasks.
  • Inspect products under a microscope to ensure quality and precision.
  • Effectively use measuring and inspection tools, such as calipers and resistance meters, to verify product specifications.
  • Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot issues and share knowledge about assembly processes.
  • Maintain focus and attention to detail to produce high-quality assemblies.
