About The Position

As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of our mechanical systems and components. You will be accountable for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous assembly and adherence to standard operating procedures. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business. You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Deer Vally Plant in Phoenix, Arizona.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in mechanical assembly or a related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and assembly procedures
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and gauges
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing ethics
  • Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or discrepancies

  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
