In this hands-on role, you’ll follow detailed methods and sequences to perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing. You’ll assemble precision electro-mechanical and electronic components using visual aids, samples, and process sheets, ensuring each build meets exacting standards. From bonding, sanding, polishing, and grit blasting to cleaning parts and assemblies per work instructions, your craftsmanship will be key to our success. You’ll work independently with minimal supervision, troubleshoot complex production issues, and recommend solutions that keep us moving forward. If you have experience in cable assembly or wire harnessing, a solid background in mechanical assembly, and a passion for mentoring others, we want to hear from you. As an Assembler - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will assemble and inspect products to ensure the highest quality standards, working with a dedicated team to meet production goals and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Precision Assembly: Build electronic components, subassemblies, and modules using visual aids, samples, prints, and process sheets with specialized tooling and machinery.
  • Hands-On Construction: Use solder, fasteners, and adhesives to assemble high-reliability electronic systems that support defense and aerospace missions.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify each build for accuracy and compliance, performing rework when needed to meet exacting standards.
  • Mechanical Mastery: Execute mechanical assembly operations using standard measuring tools and techniques to ensure precision and durability.
  • Surface Prep & Finishing: Bond, sand, polish, and grit-blast parts to prepare for final installation—then clean components per detailed Work Instructions.
  • Independent Problem Solving: Work with minimal supervision, troubleshoot complex production issues, and recommend smart, effective solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor less experienced assemblers, helping them build confidence and skill to succeed on the shop floor.
