The Assembler IV is responsible for a wide range of skills including wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. Perform assembly or wiring required for test preparation and final inspection. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping with assigned functions. In this function, you will: Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, and wiring schematics. Use various tools, such as wire strippers, crimpers, wire cutters, impact guns, drills, and pliers to assemble switchboards' electrical wiring. Handle materials following established procedures. Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages. Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar. Lift 35 lbs. with reasonable accommodation as required. Ability to be a team player and work independently with a sense of urgency A completed technical degree in a related field OR Connectors I & II certifications AND 1 year of experience as an Assembler III Position Success Criteria: Self-driven and able to produce desired results with minimal direction. Strong verbal and written communication, persuasion, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs. Proficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint. Must work somewhat independently and make decisions that affect the workgroup. Focus efforts on attaining assigned goals and objectives, which include meeting the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
