Excellent communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork Previous experience in manufacturing preferred Ability to read and understand prints and follow verbal instructions Comfortable with hand tools and basic shop equipment Demonstrates an advanced understanding of manufacturing processes Able to work in a fast paced environment Self-motivated and detail oriented Capable of performing complex tasks Able to use inspection equipment and gauges including but not limited to calipers, dial bore indicators, and micrometers. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor Walk, squat, and bend over for intervals at a time Enter confined spaces as required by production needs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and decision making ability
  • Detail orientation
  • Able to read blueprints and diagrams
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to communicate well with others
  • Good math and reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Available to work any shift

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Prepare subassemblies by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Maintain productivity by working efficiently and keeping equipment operational.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
  • Follow production standards by paying attention to safety rules, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Document activities by recording events on manufacturing and quality forms.
  • Keep information confidential.
  • Communicate effectively by listening to requests and providing clear responses.
  • Adaptability to change is essential.
