Requirements

• Conduct all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final product, including packing where integrated with production lines.
• Follow methods and drawing information required to assemble circuit breakers, panels, relays/switches/electronic assemblies and other products.

Responsibilities

• Setup and assembly of circuit breakers and circuit breaker sub-assemblies.
• Assembly of electromechanical, solid state and microprocessor-based protective relays, switches, and other electro-mechanical and electronic assemblies.
• Correctly use machinery, equipment, power tools, and hand tools made available on the floor.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions for assembly of various electro-mechanical products.
• Perform assembly operations consisting of wiring to final completion or refurbishment on circuit breakers, panels, coil winding, and assembly of sub-assemblies and finished parts.
• Handle small components such as capacitors, micro-chips, resistors, transformers, indicators, wires, switches, and printed circuit boards in accordance with product specification sheets, drawings, methods, schedules, and customer needs.
