Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position: The Magnet Assembler - Level 2 is responsible for magnetizing, demagnetizing, and assembling products of varying complexities with minimal supervision. This role entails expert knowledge in using and maintaining magnetizing, demagnetizing, and marking equipment while providing guidance and supervision to other assemblers. Ensuring strict adherence to detailed instructions, quality standards, and safety protocols while actively contributing to process improvement initiatives is crucial.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product assembly or following precise processes.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding QMS Systems and work instructions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining magnetizing, demagnetizing, and marking equipment expertly.
  • Training other assemblers in equipment use and advanced assembly techniques.
  • Providing initial approval and supervision for other assemblers.
  • Assembling intricate magnet components following detailed blueprints and work instructions.
  • Ensuring compliance with stringent quality, customer, and safety requirements.
  • Applying Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize assembly processes.
  • Adhering strictly to quality, safety, and customer-related procedures.
  • Recording accurate tracking information on work orders and maintaining computerized records.
  • Leading and collaborating within assembly teams, especially for complex or larger products.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Adapting dynamically to evolving product requirements and changes.
  • Meeting demanding standards for quality, responsiveness, and deadlines.
  • Providing technical expertise across diverse industries.
  • Assisting with special projects and fulfilling assigned duties.
