This will be a first shift (Monday-Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm) position at our Racine facility (8635 Washington Avenue, Mt Pleasant, WI). The Assembler II is responsible for assembling parts according to specified Work Instructions. This position may be required to rotate throughout the facility in a variety of assembly tasks. Requirements

  • High School Degree/GED Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing desired
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

  • Work is performed in a Manufacturing environment
  • Depending on the assigned department, must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and complete an audiogram test
  • Those working in the Aerospace department must be able to pass a Vision, Color Vision, and Depth perception test
  • This position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components with precision and care
  • Ensure quality standards are met every step of the way
  • Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and supportive workplace
  • Use basic printing programs to complete customer orders when required for a specific job and make adjustments when needed on your own.
  • Use Production system to record day-to-day customer order activity, view work instructions and report completed work.
  • Take initiative to ensure priority items are completed and when needed seek out additional information from lead or Supervisor.
