About The Position

As a Medical Device Assembler, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly in a cleanroom environment. Working under moderate supervision, you will assemble medical devices according to good manufacturing practices, manufacturing flow, specific standard operating, and safety procedures. In addition to contributing to the Medtronic mission, you'll also be investing in your career! This is a full time, benefits eligible, direct hire opportunity. We currently have openings on the Day shift. Day shift schedule is as follows: Work schedule: B-Shift: 5:30 am - 5:42 pm. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing/production experience
  • Experience working in a clean room environment
  • Experience with low and high-power microscopes
  • Semiconductor and Wafer Fab experience in the following areas: Photolithography, Wet Etch, Dry Etch, CVD, Metrology, Laser Bonding, Laser Marking
  • Experience and knowledge working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical devices according to the validated procedure
  • Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions
  • Comply with all Controlled Environment Area (CEA) / Cleanroom / FAB protocol, including personal hygiene, gowning procedures, and safety procedures
  • Ensure continuous flow of work in process (wafers / batteries / device)
  • Perform quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
  • Accurately enter data into tracking system
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member in a manner that is conducive to a positive work environment
