See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: An Assembler is responsible for production-assembly, work is highly repetitive; ability to work following a prescribed routine or where method of assembly is obvious. Requirements

  • Must have the ability to communicate in English; excellent written and verbal communication is required.
  • The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Must have normal to high manual dexterity skills
  • Must be able to use all required hand tools, machinery and variable gauges
  • Must be qualified and competent after a reasonable predetermined training period based on job complexity

Responsibilities

  • Production-assembly
  • Work following a prescribed routine or where method of assembly is obvious
  • Follow demonstrated steps
  • Work in a team environment
  • Follow direction
  • Read work instructions
  • Prepare container tickets, including addition and subtraction of part counts
  • Multitask
  • Use hand tools, scales, and other process related equipment such as fixtures, assembly presses and drill presses
  • Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs, lifting assistance is provided when necessary
  • Fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling and grasping of small-medium-large parts is required
  • Use of chemicals
  • Other duties as assigned
