Responsible for safely assembling equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. These assemblies vary in size and product while requiring the use of a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools. YOUR IMPACT These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned: Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG products using power tools and manual techniques. Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights. Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts. Use hand and pneumatic tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers, torque guns) with accuracy. Measure accurately using tools like tape measures. Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components. Identify required options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions. Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs). Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed. Follow written and verbal instructions precisely. Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards. Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards.
