Assemble components, assemblies, sub-assemblies and kits according to specific written work instructions and process diagrams and illustrations. Use of appropriate tool and machinery provided. Works from instructions and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs. Verify and inspect products to ensure they are in conformance with requirements. Perform assembly operations using standard measuring tools and techniques, follow work order instructions policies and procedures. Cross train in other assembly positions, as required, and perform other duties and responsibilities as required. Maybe required to disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
