About The Position

Assembles metal products partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties in reasonable & productive time frames:

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions.
• Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• Ability to walk and climb or balance.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to see close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.
• Must be able to follow verbal, written and pictorial instructions.
• Must be able to use hand tools, drill or riveting tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
