See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview : An Assembler is responsible for production-assembly, work is highly repetitive; ability to work following a prescribed routine or where method of assembly is obvious. Requirements
- Must have the ability to communicate in English; e xcellent written and verbal communication is required.
- The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic reading and math skills
- Must have normal to high manual dexterity skills
- Must be able to use all required hand tools, machinery and variable gauges
- Must be qualified and competent after a reasonable predetermined training period based on job complexity
Responsibilities
- Position requires operators to be mechanically inclined with basic reading, writing and mathematics skills
- Position requires operator to work in a team environment, follow direction, read work instructions, and prepare container tickets, including addition and subtraction of part counts
- Organizational skills
- Required to multitask
- Use hand tools, scales, and other process related equipment such as fixtures, assembly presses and drill presses
- Some hand tools require the operator to be ambidextrous
- Position requires standing for extended periods of time / sitting for extended periods of time
- Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs, lifting assistance is provided when necessary
- Fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling and grasping of small-medium-large parts is required
- Operator must have full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck and back to perform job duties
- Job requires the use of chemicals
- Other duties as assigned
