JOB DESCRIPTION: WHAT YOU'LL DO: Performs a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Set up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines. May perform other tasks including, but not limited to; placing labels on packages, and putting data sheets with product. Responsibilities: Assembles, repairs, inspect and/or test products following written instructions.. Set up and operates a variety of machines following written instructions.. Clean tools and equipment per documented procedures. Record information on approved documents. Dispose hazardous waste material on corresponding hazardous waste areas.. Resolve problems and make routine recommendations.. Train other employees when necessary.. Maintain all certifications required to remain in compliance. (Planning/Organization)Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established schedule.; (Decision Making/Impact) Solves a variety of problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity requiring basic interpretation of defined procedures and practices. Maintains confidentiality in handling sensitive information or documents.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent plus 2-5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Applies broad knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practices and a general understanding of department fundamentals.
  • Will perform this job in a quality system environment.
  • Performs routine and non-routine moderately complex assignments using standard methods and sequences.
  • Makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements to set processes as directed.
  • Assignments require broad judgment in troubleshooting proven processes as well as the ability to suggest alternatives.

  • Two-year degree or some college credits preferred.
