See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview : Position requires operator to be mechanically inclined with basic reading, writing and mathematics skills. Position requires operator to work in a team environment, follow direction, read work instructions, and prepare container tickets; including addition and subtraction of part counts. Organizational skills Required to multi-task Use hand tools, scales, and other process-related equipment such as fixtures, assembly presses and drill presses. Some hand tools require the operator to be ambidextrous. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: Position requires standing for extended periods. Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs, lifting assistance is provided when necessary. Fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling, and grasping of small-medium-large parts is required. Operator must have full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck and back to perform job duties. Other duties as assigned. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Requirements

  • The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Must have normal to high manual dexterity skills.
  • Must be able to use all required hand tools, machinery, and variable gauges.
  • Must be qualified and competent after a reasonable predetermined training period based on job complexity.
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English; e xcellent written and verbal communication is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare container tickets; including addition and subtraction of part counts.
  • Use hand tools, scales, and other process-related equipment such as fixtures, assembly presses and drill presses.
