See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview : An Assembler is responsible for production-assembly, work is highly repetitive; ability to work simple short-cycle mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly following a prescribed routine or where method of assembly is obvious. Must have the ability to follow demonstrated steps. Requires simple adjusting with liberal tolerances and no fitting. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: Required to have fine hand manipulation, pinch, pull and grasp of small-medium-large parts. Required to have full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck and back. Must have normal to high manual dexterity skills and required to use hand tools, machinery and variable gauges. Some hand tools require the operator to be ambidextrous. Mechanically inclined with basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills. Work in a team environment, follow direction, read work instructions, and prepare container labels to include but not limited to addition and subtraction of part counts. Use hand tools, scales, and other process related equipment such as fixtures, assembly presses and drill presses. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English; e xcellent written and verbal communication is required.
  • Must have normal to high manual dexterity skills
  • Some hand tools require the operator to be ambidextrous.
  • Mechanically inclined with basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills.
  • Work in a team environment, follow direction, read work instructions
