As an Assembler I, you will be responsible for assembling knives from components using small manual and semi-automatic hand tools and fixtures. You will visually inspect parts used in knife assembly to ensure they meet cosmetic requirements and perform minor troubleshooting of problems while assembling components. You will also complete required documentation and may be moved throughout the department to support department needs, including cross-training at various assembly functions such as prepping sub-assemblies, laser marking, serration, sharpening, or cleaning and packaging of sharpened knives. Additionally, you will actively participate in continuous improvement teams and support a continuous improvement culture in the area by striving to help meet the department's challenges while working towards the company vision.
