Requirements

• Must have ability to read fractional measurements on mechanical drawings.
• Must be accurate with measurements down to 1/16".

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Willingness to use saws, heat sealers, industrial hot melt glue, utility knives, machinery and varying textures of foam.
• Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in & out of jobs with employee ID number.
• Ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently cut and adhere foam to cases to meet customer specifications for quality and on-time delivery.
• Log in and out of jobs in the Ops Center (Production software planning system) to track jobs and follow production schedules.
• Use band saws (vertical/horizontal), Dye Press, utility knives or other blades to cut foam to customer specifications.
• Adhere hot glue to cases, crates or other pieces of foam using adhesives, glue and hot air to seal foam.
• Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use.
• Follow all procedures, policies and know the equipment before using it.
• Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts.
• Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures.
• Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment.
