Responsible for performing a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations, which may include skilled hand work or the use of automated production equipment, in a Repair and Overhaul environment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents using work instructions, Engineering direction and print specifications. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. May provide training to less experienced team members. Participates in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance program quality, cost, and scheduling.
