Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Assembler C - 1st Shift to join our team in Glenolden, PA! The core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour. What you’ll do: The Assembler C performs assembly and/or tests on products for aerospace industry customers. In this role, you will: • Follow work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to safely and accurately assemble components. • Use automated equipment, manual equipment, and hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt, rivet, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to secure or join parts. • Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, epoxy bonding, curing, painting, etc. • Assist in resolving production failures or product issues. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and communicate by posting interrupters on tier 1 board. • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment • Work in a team environment that promotes continuous flow assembly • Other duties as assigned. Position will provide additional training and development around electro-mechanical assembly skillsets to allow for further internal growth.
