What impact you’ll make: The Assembler- Gas Turbine Manufacturing will position, erect, adjust, fit components, fabricate conduit/ tubing accessories, and assemble flange to flange piping systems and other components for gas turbine units. Assemble/disassemble testing equipment and components, including gas, air, and hydro connections. Read and interpret drawings, wiring lists, schematics, and shop documents. Lift and position sub-components using cranes, hoists, and manual methods; bolt and torque parts to specifications. Align and adjust components; maintain and record quality control data. Use various tools and equipment such as power tools, measuring devices, cranes, lifts, and bending tools. Work collaboratively in a team, support problem-solving, continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Wire gas turbine units and controls; troubleshoot wiring issues and perform hand-machining as needed. Assemble/disassemble testing equipment and components, including gas, air, and hydro connections. Read and interpret drawings, wiring lists, schematics, and shop documents. Lift and position sub-components using cranes, hoists, and manual methods; bolt and torque parts to specifications. Align and adjust components; maintain and record quality control data. Use various tools and equipment such as power tools, measuring devices, cranes, lifts, and bending tools. Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 3 years of mechanical/electrical experience in a manufacturing environment using electrical, pneumatic, and manual hand tools OR a certified technical program with 1+ years experience.
- Proficiency in milling, turning, and grinding processes.
- Must be able to use and read manual gauges, micrometers, calipers, and tape measure.
- Ability to work 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear necessary PPE with or without reasonable accommodation .
- Role may require climbing and working at height.
- Must pass an assembler assessment, background check, and drug screening.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
