Join us inconnecting people to commerce in this vital, rewardingrole. Operates manufacturing equipment within a production facility. Installs, mounts, fastens, aligns and adjusts parts, components, wiring and infrastructure components. May also perform electrical and mechanical assembly of various components to be assembled into a final product. Ensures units are developed and integrated according to assembly and customer specifications.

Requirements

  • Education or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Assembly and Fabricator.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporates experience and knowledge to perform tasks and ensure assembly / fabrication specifications are met.
  • Proficient in all areas of the build and production processes.
  • Participates in process improvement activities or projects.
  • Develops solid knowledge of wider production assemblies and machinery as experience grows.
  • Determines if defective systems are repairable or will need to be sent to teardown.
  • May coach less experienced team members.
  • Performs tear down of sub-assemblies and cleaning operations as necessary.
  • Interprets and applies Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) pertaining to standard product and initial new product builds.
  • Adheres to safety guidelines.
