Job Purpose: Perform functions to build and inspect company products working with units or parts while following established procedures in a team environment.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of safety.
• Ability to operate hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches and equipment necessary for production.
• Ability to perform basic math computations.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare necessary materials for assembly.
• Assemble various components using hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment ensuring that all specifications are being met.
• Perform full testing of units and inspection on various in-process or final assemblies.
• Adaptable and willing to be cross trained to perform the functions at multiple stations as requested.
• Analyze rejected product, communicate this with the Lead Assembler and assist in the problem resolution.
• Use calibration and testing equipment effectively, ensuring that the product functions according to specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, including proper removal of all waste.
• Follow material replenishment processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
