About The Position

The position involves using a variety of hand and power tools to assemble products correctly. Employees will operate rigging and lifting devices safely and assemble assigned product parts in accordance with standard work instructions. It is essential to report any problems with quality, equipment, and material to supervisors, complete documentation, and work in a timely manner. The role requires working in both individual and team environments while maintaining good housekeeping and clean work areas. Employees are expected to act, live, and behave according to TCF Core Values, and additional duties may be assigned based on location and product line.

Requirements

• Typically requires a high school diploma and up to 2 years of experience.
• Ability to read and understand shop orders and blueprints, safety rules, and standard work instructions written in English.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to use hand tools in a safe and proper manner.
• May be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack based on department.
