About The Position

The Assembler position at Paragon Medical, a business unit of AMETEK, Inc., involves working on the 2nd shift to assist in the assembly, packaging, and production of various medical devices. This role is crucial in ensuring that products meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and comply with FDA, ISO, and environmental standards, ultimately moving products towards the consumer market.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Transportation to work on-site in Mansfield, MA.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in manufacturing operations with medical devices.
• Knowledge and experience with GMP, ISO, FDA, and quality standards.
• Experience with manufacturing documentation such as Bill of Materials (BOM), shop orders, routers, and maintenance of manufacturing metrics.
• Experience in a Clean Room environment.

• Basic mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for day-to-day manufacturing activities including working on required manufacturing shop orders/work load.
• Maintain appropriate training as required by the company.
• Ensure production accuracy and quality by accurately following manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure that the proper material is available to perform assigned manufacturing work.
• Work with Engineering personnel to assist in developing process and equipment validation/qualification plans and protocols.
• Assist/support in the execution of validation plans, including testing and data collection.
• Provide problem-solving support to the manufacturing operation as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups including the Quality Department and Development.
