About The Position

The Assembler Level 2 is a mid-level position that requires an intermediate understanding of large-scale assembly processes. The role involves the ability to work with limited supervision on more complex tasks, including the assembly of large modular units, subassemblies, and the integration of systems.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent with 1+ years of experience.
Ability to work specified shift and show up on time.
Must be 18 years of age.
This is a 40 hour per week position.
Prior experience installing multiple parts or assemblies
Overtime work expected when needed.
Ability to lead a group of assemblers of various classifications to success on a production line.
The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds] on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety.
Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance.
Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to the fit, alignment, and operational integration of large-scale components.
Utilize TPS concepts to optimize the assembly process for large-scale operations.
Lead Kaizen events focused on improving efficiency and quality in large-scale assembly tasks.
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of safety procedures for working with heavy machinery, oversized components, and hazardous materials.
Ensure strict adherence to quality control plans, focusing on the structural integrity and operational functionality of large-scale assemblies.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and engineering to coordinate large-scale assembly efforts and resolve complex issues.
Lead documentation efforts for large-scale assembly processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Train other team members in advanced large-scale assembly techniques and safety procedures.
Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and the ability to initiate and lead problem-solving efforts in large-scale assembly projects.
Kitting products for shipment or for installation.
Perform complex cable terminations and testing.
Apply labels to products accurately
Understand assembly instructions with no oversite
