About The Position

HVAC Assembler 2 This position will take on more complex tasks in the assembly of HVAC units. This intermediate-level position requires a higher level of proficiency in construction techniques, tool usage, and blueprint interpretation. This person will require less supervision and still provide quality workmanship. This role is responsible for supporting training and mentoring lower level assemblers when needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or assembly of HVAC units.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Champions safety procedures and adheres to them strictly.
  • Performs assembly tasks with moderate supervision.
  • Constructs industrial HVAC units following blueprints, diagrams, and specifications with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiently operates tools and equipment required for assembly.
  • Identifies and resolves basic assembly issues independently.
  • Ensures compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Collaborates with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Provides guidance and support to entry-level assemblers.
  • Takes on more complex assembly tasks.
  • Actively participates in hazard and near miss reporting.
  • Actively contributes ideas for process improvement.
  • Assists in the mentoring and training of lower-level assemblers.
  • Checks in with lead or lead in training for priorities.
  • Willingly assists other departments as needed, maintains a flexible mindset.
  • Assists in all other duties assigned.
