About The Position

Videojet, a Veralto company, is a world leader in the product identification market, providing in-line printing, coding and marking products, consumables, and software solutions. The position requires working Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential overtime or weekend work. Responsibilities include fine assembly of small-component subassemblies, performing quality inspections, soldering, collaborating within a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety protocols, escalating issues, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Prior precision assembly or electronics/mechatronics assembly experience preferred; soldering is a strong plus.
• Ability to read/interpret SOPs and basic drawings; proficient with hand/power tools and measuring instruments.
• Manual dexterity; ability to handle small parts for extended periods; lift/carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and dependable attendance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build small-component subassemblies following SOPs and specifications.
• Perform visual inspections and simple functional checks on each build step.
• Use basic soldering techniques for electronic/mechatronic subassemblies as applicable.
• Work closely within a fast-paced cell, coordinating with leads and engineers to maintain takt time.
• Adhere to EHS protocols and maintain an organized workstation following 5S.
• Identify defects, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate per standard process.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield and throughput.
