This position involves performing plant-specific competencies and basic assembly tasks at a proficiency and quality standard set by the plant. The role requires reading and following written build instructions, which include numbered lists, color coding, technical descriptions, change orders, and diagrams. The employee will be responsible for assembling and/or building a variety of components as defined in product documentation, which includes operations such as assembling, crimping, and preparing various materials according to customer requirements. The position also involves operating common hand tools and various types of equipment, using adhesives when necessary, and cleaning parts and assemblies with common solvents. Additionally, the employee will support quality systems, take corrective actions for any issues affecting customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures.
