The Assembler 1 positions are responsible for basic mechanical assembly and occasionally may perform ground bond testing. This can include crating and packing using hand tools and PIV equipment. The Assembler 1 will demonstrate proficiency in using blueprints, Manufacturing Tracking System (MTS), On Floor Sheets (OFS), and hand tools required in assembly. The Assembler 1 will demonstrate ability interacting with MTS and Quality by driving continuous improvement through active product resolution, reporting turnbacks and documenting assembly defects or supplier failures. The Assembler 1 will participate in daily toolbox meetings and ensure shop floor management elements such as Tier 1, QCPC, 5S, Material Review Board (MRB) and other job duties assigned.
