About The Position

Assembler I As an Assembler I, you will prepare and produce different types of products using different machines/tools according to instructions/drawings. Activities can be repetitive .Will be trained on setting/adjusting machine (parts) using simple manual tools. Uses measuring tools to visually control the manufactured products. This is a 2nd Shift! Your role: Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy. Must be able to assemble these parts repeatedly and for long periods using a microscope. Perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations using small hand tools, soldering equipment and machinery Follow methods of sequence of operations to ensure documented & controlled processes are followed. Conduct inspection of incoming materials and outgoing finished goods using a microscope Report on cell performances in standup meetings Must be able to understand & document daily production metrics accurately May participate in projects as a team member in the development of skills, talents, and teamwork to support improvement projects.

Requirements

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Your skills include strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to work under a microscope for extended periods while seated or standing at a workbench.
  • You have good communication skills and can effectively follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • You’re comfortable using a computer to enter accurate data
  • You’re flexible to changing business needs and willing to work overtime as required.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Reedsville, PA.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
