About The Position

Qualifications: • Trained in blue print reading. • Trained on FOD and its effect on product. • Competent in standard military NAS and NASM, MA as well as customer specifications for hardware assembly. • 1 year experience using basic hand tools such as Allen wrenches, torque wrenches, screw drivers, helicoils installation tools or be willing to be trained as required. Duties & expectations: • Assemble hardware and components in a safe, productive and quality manner. • Document work on in-process inspection plans, production log, router and ERP system as applicable to maintain traceability and quality records. • Keep clean and organized work area. • Communicate any concerns or issues related to production of parts, safety and quality to immediate supervisor. • Look to continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS. • Willing to work in a team environment . • Only use calibrated measuring equipment whether your own or company supplied, if not in proper calibration notify quality department to have corrected immediately • Be sure any epoxy’s, adhesives, prime and paint etc. are documented and within shelf life criteria. • Handle inspection equipment, machines and parts in a manner that will not cause damage. • Insure that our FOD program is being used. • In the event of lack of work or another department needing assistance may be asked to do any of the following but not limited to: Operator, Inventory control, Cleaning, Shipping and Receiving, Deburring • Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality. • Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
