About The Position

The Thin Film Operator (Assembler) will perform kitting and inventory control of substrates and run other Thin Film processes. The role includes the use of hand tools, automated pick-and-places, microscopes, and machines. You must be able to work a day shift position (5:00 am to 1:30 pm). Responsibilities

  • Perform kitting of substrates and small parts onto gel packs using tweezers and vacuum wands.
  • Load and unload substrates from an automated pick-and-place machine.
  • Physically count substrates and confirm quantities are accurate.
  • Visually inspect kitted substrates and confirm the correct parts have been kitted.
  • Inspection may be performed under a microscope.
  • Clean, stage, and organize substrates, gel packs, and waffle packs on staging shelves.
  • Understand and follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Fill out logs and operation sheets.
  • Run other Thin Film processes and machines as requested by the supervisor.
