About the Role: Assemble, tear down, reassemble, and rework complete gear boxes, assemblies, subassemblies, accessory units, and driven equipment.

Requirements

Highschool diploma or GED
May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related field
Must be able to work 2nd shift

Responsibilities

Setup parts on balance machine
Run program and remove material necessary to bring in tolerance
Assemble a variety of gearboxes
Use different hand tools including hydraulic and pneumatic
Utilize working knowledge of turbomachinery products
Operational blueprints and written instructions for dissemble or rebuilding of gearboxes
