  • Utilize various welding fixtures in conjunction with a weld head and power supply to complete welding functions.
  • Use small hand tools and a microscope for assembly tasks.
  • Perform continual quality weld and integrity tests on all parts produced.
  • Become proficient in machine alignment and installing/dressing electrodes.
  • Enter data on a computer for labor and time charging.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping.
  • Be open to cross-training into different manufacturing operations.
  • Receive general instructions on routine assignments and detailed instructions on new assignments.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
  • Willing to train.
  • Assembly experience preferred.
  • Good eye-hand dexterity/coordination to assemble small parts.
  • Ability to work with hand tools (tweezers, fixture, pliers) using a microscope and test equipment (power supply welder).
  • Must be able to wear latex gloves and finger cots for long periods of time.
  • Basic reading skills, clear verbal and written communication skills, intermediate arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to perform documentation (sign off on operation sheet) and read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry.
  • Salary range: $32,300.00-$43,100.00
