The Assembler 1 positions are responsible for assembly of pre- and sub-assembly components and performing ground bond testing. This includes packing completed electrical systems, using hand tools and PIV equipment to perform these tasks to comply with codes and standards of a work cell or area. The Assembler I will demonstrate proficiency in using blueprints, Manufacturing Tracking System (MTS), On Floor Sheets (OFS), and hand tools required in assembly. The Assembler I will demonstrate ability interacting with MTS and Quality by driving continuous improvement through active product resolution, reporting turn backs and documenting assembly defects or supplier failures. The Assembler I will participate in daily toolbox meetings and ensure shop floor management elements such as Tier 1, QCPC, 5S, Material Review Board (MRB) and other job duties assigned.
