About The Position

We are seeking an Asphalt Quality Control Technician to join our materials testing team at our Ft Smith asphalt plant. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and consistency of our asphalt materials. No prior experience is required — we welcome entry‑level candidates and will provide full training and certifications. This position includes both lab and field testing associated with plant operations. This is a salaried position.

Requirements

  • Experience in a quality control role in construction industry preferred but not required - we provide complete training and support to obtain required certifications
  • Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of lab testing processes and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of lab tests on construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, and soil
  • Analyze and interpret test results, and ensure that all testing is completed accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain lab equipment and supplies, and ensure that all lab-related activities are carried out in accordance with best practices and standards
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that lab testing aligns with project requirements and timelines
  • Communicate lab-related information to stakeholders
  • Identify and report any quality control issues or concerns
  • Other duties as assigned
