About The Position

This position is responsible for the daily production of either a batch plant or drum plant to produce quality asphalt for our customers.

Requirements

• Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must possess a valid CDL Class A
• Previous experience in asphalt plant operation helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
• Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
• Ensure quality production of asphalt materials
• Assign and load trucks to various locations
• Order liquid asphalt as needed
• Complete daily and weekly production reports
• Perform general daily maintenance on asphalt plant
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as assigned
• Responsible for quality products
• Other duties as assigned
