About The Position
Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill our position as an Asphalt Plant Loader Operator in Dayton, TN. The role involves safely operating and maintaining the asphalt plant and construction equipment, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and serviced as needed. The operator will determine the proper quantities of materials needed to produce asphalt, adjust controls to regulate the flow of materials, maintain the speed of systems, and ensure the plant is operating at the proper temperature. Additionally, the operator will perform walk-around and site inspections for all equipment to identify and correct unsafe conditions, monitor inventory levels of all mix materials, and adjust production as needed. The position also includes supervising employees at the plant and may involve training them as necessary. The operator should be able to weld using an arc welder and cutting torch, monitor the plant site for safe and efficient traffic flow, troubleshoot and problem-solve production issues, accurately complete plant reports and documentation, and clean the control house and yard facility daily.
