About The Position

Holcim is planning to spin-off its North American Business to unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America's oversized growth in construction led by the modernization of infrastructure, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operation and the growth of resilient cities. Requirements

• Experienced welder/fabricator (preferred)
• Experience using hand tools (Drills, pneumatic powered tools, hammers, wrenches)
• Ability to read measuring tools
• Understand Basic mathematics
• Good communication skills/someone who can work in a team environment
• Ability to diagnose problems with plant/site equipment
• MA Hoisting License (Skid Steer, BobCat, Man-Lift operator) (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND COMPLIANCE POLICIES
• General Laboring (carrying, lifting parts and tools, cleaning)
• Participates in mechanical maintenance activities that may require the use of operating hand tools and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required; determine when equipment is in need of repair and inform appropriate authorities.
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include heat, rain and dust.
• Must be able to switch from days to night with little notice.
• Willingness to work required overtime as needed.
• Must be on time and work in a team environment.
