About The Position
The Asphalt Paving Superintendent will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of asphalt paving projects. This position requires a seasoned professional who can effectively manage and coordinate the activities of multiple paving crews. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that the work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards, which includes spreading, rolling, tamping, and patching asphalt or similar materials to create durable surfaces for highways, streets, parking lots, and driveways. In this role, the Superintendent will provide overall leadership and management on-site, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. This includes planning and coordinating daily functions, managing schedules, controlling materials, and directing field personnel.
