Job Summary: In this critical role, you will oversee and manage multiple paving crews, ensuring the successful execution of projects across highways, streets, parking lots, and driveways. You will also have oversight of milling and grading crews, coordinating efforts across all aspects of paving operations. Your leadership and organizational skills will be key to maintaining productivity, safety, and high-quality results. Effective communication with project managers, field staff, and subcontractors will be essential for smooth project execution and ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget. Requirements

• Previous experience as a paving foreman or superintendent with expertise in managing multiple crews (paving, milling, grading) is required.
• Strong understanding of paving operations, including equipment and materials used in asphalt and aggregate applications.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage large teams and multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work overtime and extended hours as required to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to interact effectively with supervisors, co-workers, contractors, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high level of quality across all projects.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to operate various types of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and coordinate multiple paving, milling, and grading crews to ensure efficient and quality operations.
• Implement and interpret construction plans, ensuring all work is performed according to project specifications.
• Enforce safety policies and practices to maintain a secure and productive work environment for all field employees.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion.
• Review and adjust project schedules, materials, and crew assignments to optimize resources and meet deadlines.
• Monitor quality standards, ensuring that all work meets Asphalt Contractors' high standards.
• Provide on-site problem-solving to address any issues that may arise during the paving, milling, or grading process.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained and operating efficiently, working with the maintenance team as needed.
• Take on additional supervisory tasks as necessary, ensuring projects remain within scope, budget, and schedule.
