About The Position
Triangle Grading and Paving, Inc. is seeking a qualified paving foreman to join our team. As an experienced Paving Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate paving operations on various job sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a crew, manage equipment, and work closely with the superintendent to ensure all work meets project specifications and deadlines. This role is critical in maintaining the flow of operations and ensuring that all safety and quality standards are adhered to throughout the paving process. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, which include site preparation, material handling, and the actual paving work. You will direct and coordinate the activities of paving crew members, providing training, support, and guidance to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of paving equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and is being used efficiently. Safety is a top priority, and you will oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations, conducting regular job-site safety meetings to keep workers informed. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress, as well as preparing and submitting reports as required. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
