Knife River is looking for dependable Asphalt Paving Crew members to join our team!

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
• Possess a valid driver's license; CDL preferred, and a quality driving record under company policy.
• Successfully pass a post offer pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Prefer 3 years of minimum experience with the defined type of equipment.
• Ability to operate different types of equipment is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling and raking.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely and productively perform asphalt paving operations including operation of pavers, screeds, raking, shoveling and compacting asphalt on parking lots, streets, and highways.
• Work safely and follow all company policies.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to identify any safety and maintenance issues.
