About The Position
The Asphalt Milling Operator is responsible for operating equipment to deliver, smooth, and tamp gravel and dirt, and cover it with asphalt. This role involves filling, setting up, cleaning, and dumping supplies, refuse, and equipment. The operator will set up materials and forms, which includes shoveling, taping, and spray-painting to indicate tasks. Safety is a priority, and the operator must drive and operate equipment safely, inspecting it before and after use. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.
