About The Position

Overview Spread and level hot asphalt using a lute (asphalt rake) behind paving machines. Adjust asphalt depth to meet grade specifications and ensure a smooth, even surface. Fill low spots and correct surface irregularities. Work alongside the paving crew, roller operators, and equipment operators. Check slopes and drainage to ensure proper water runoff. Assist with cleaning and preparing surfaces before paving. Follow all job site safety rules and traffic control guidelines.
