Asphalt General Superintendent

We are growing our paving operation in Tampa Bay and are looking for an Asphalt Paving Manager who can oversee field operations, support the crew, and help ensure every job is planned, prepared, and executed the right way. Requirements
- Significant experience as a paving superintendent, general superintendent, senior foreman, or operations-level leader
- Strong understanding of asphalt paving, production flow, compaction, mix types, and job sequencing
- Able to read plans, walk jobs, and identify needs early
- Clear, steady communication style
- Someone who stays organized, stays ahead, and keeps things moving
Nice To Haves
- Experience with automated grade/slope systems or 3D control is a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily paving field operations
- Walk jobs ahead of time to confirm readiness
- Coordinate with PMs, trucking, milling, plant operations, and subs
- Aid in developing operational efficiencies and process optimization
- Make sure equipment, materials, and manpower are in place before the crew rolls in
- Support the foreman with planning, sequencing, and production needs
- Monitor safety, quality, and daily progress
- Help implement or support tech tools like 3D machine control
- Keep operations organized and aligned with the plan
