About The Position
The Asphalt Foreman at Amundson Group is a critical role responsible for overseeing asphalt paving operations and managing crews on-site. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively coordinate tasks, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The foreman will be expected to manage daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with project managers and clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in asphalt paving and construction management, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams in a fast-paced environment. In this role, the Asphalt Foreman will be responsible for training and mentoring crew members, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, and that work is completed on time and within budget. The foreman will also be tasked with troubleshooting any issues that arise during the paving process and implementing solutions to keep the project on track. Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this position, as the foreman will need to adapt to changing conditions and demands on the job site. The Asphalt Foreman will report directly to the project manager and will be expected to maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders involved in the project. This position is full-time and requires a commitment to working in person at the job site in West Palm Beach, FL. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the area before starting work, as this is a requirement for the position.
