Keeley Construction is currently seeking skilled Asphalt / Concrete Laborer to join our Paving Group in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position is well-suited for individuals with hands-on experience in asphalt and concrete work who are dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.
While asphalt and concrete experience is preferred, candidates with a solid background in general construction who align with Keeley culture and demonstrate a strong work ethic will also be considered. We believe skills can be developed, but reliability, attitude, and teamwork are essential.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of construction experience, preferably in asphalt paving and/or concrete work.
• Familiarity with jobsite safety practices and construction tools.
• Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a crew.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to safety.
• All candidates must be willing to complete a pre-employment assessment and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks related to asphalt paving, patching, concrete work, and surface preparation.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and other equipment to spread, level, and finish asphalt or concrete.
• Assist with cleaning, maintaining, and organizing tools and equipment.
• Operate small power tools as needed for various jobsite tasks.
• Communicate with equipment operators to ensure safe and accurate placement of materials.
• Set up, move, and remove signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and always company safety policies.
• Maintain reliable and regular attendance.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to support smooth jobsite operations.
